In the meantime Jaguar recently released the most woke ad in the history
of advertising which created a massive shit fight.
Also the UK new Labor is changed the EV mandate due to huge pressure
from the car companies that are going broke, Nissan has a major
manufacturing plant in the UK's north and its threatening to shut it
down with the loss of 10's of 1000 of jobs, similar with Vauxhall.
Its madness that Govts are telling people what sort of cars they must
buy, a lot of people will just refuse to buy EV's so its a waste of time
making EV's that no one is buying. (I'm mostly referring to UK and
Europe which is well ahead of Australia in terms of EV take up, over
time they have realised the EV's are not working out, IMHO that will
happen here in a year or 2)
Jaguar is so on the nose in its home market that it can announce
whatever it likes because in a couple of years if not sooner it will
cease to exist.

Most likely. I wonder if that will make my XJ6 worth any more than the
10 bucks it's worth now? :)

At least the suspension parts are of interest to vehicle modifiers so
not entirely worthless:-)

That's why I have it. The rest of it is going to the crusher where it
belongs :)

Yeah, it's disgraceful when a gvt makes an effort to reduce the
poisoning of the planet.

That would be about the 9th manufacturer I've heard make such a claim
now, and as yet I don't think any of them have.

It's a *phasing out*. Do you have a clue what that means?
