I am looking at purchasing a 1995 Tarago. Can anybody tell me what the
difference is between a GLI & a GLX in that year.
I know the GLX is the next model up from the GLI but what does the GLx have
that the GLI doesn't.

Is this a good deal
Toyota Tarago 1995, automatic, 8 seater, dual air conditioning, pwr windows,
towbar, bullbar, gas, roof racks, very clean car -$15550

The GLX....

Was it AWD? or did it get IRS?

I thought all the 'egg' Taragos were IRS? And I didn't think there was a
4WD version of that model (or if there was, it wasn't around for long).

AFAIK the 4WD Tarago's were grey imports.

Yep; they may've been more car-like than the other vans around, but they
still had solid rears.

No, they sold 'em here between release in late 1990 to the facelift in
April '94 ... they were ridiculously expensive though, and you don't see
many on the road as a result. The grey imports are mostly Previas; and
they just look wierd 'cos all dimensions are the same except for
something like a foot off the width ... it's like you're looking at it
through a slightly concave mirror or something. :)

GLX has IRS and option of ABS (auto or manual)

GLS was AWD adn auto only

Just look at redbook for specs
