On Facebook they have a "People you may know" section. On my account the
other day, your name came up. Since the only communication that we have
had other than here was when you visited the museum, it brings up the
question of why they think that I may know you.

I've experienced the same thing with other people. Not from here, or at
least that I know of. I suspect Google has a lot to do with it.

Nope, none mentioned. I've only just got the account back, FB locked it
due to "Unusual activity", hmm well there is someone around here who has
form for "Research" on FB, makes me suspicious.

I just went through my "people you might know" and you weren't there.
I'm not even "friends" on Facebook with my actual close friends or

Because he searched your name, that's the most common way.

The algorithm figures that if you go snooping at other peoples profiles
there is a fair chance you know them so it puts you on the other persons
"people you may know" list.

The sad thing, for you, is that the term, "algorithm" is the simplest
and most succinct way to describe the process that Facebook uses.
LinkedIn uses similar algorithms and likely was why your wife's name
kept popping up as a possible contact in *my* Linkedin account.

That's right, you *lied* about *her qualifications* too, didn't you. She
was a "qualified teacher" you lied when all she had was a certificate in
journalism. Are you so insecure that you need to also lie about your
wife's achievements?

The only lie going on here Felix is the mental case's claim that my
wife's Linkedin details kept "popping up" on his account when she has
zero connection with anyone here but me, and I don't have a Linkedin
account myself.

The *only* reason he would know what her account looked like is because
the pathetic heap of shit had been stalking her.

The *only* reason he would know what her account looked like is because
the pathetic heap of shit had been stalking her.
Hey Darren, I didn't even *know her name*. Had I been looking, I would
have sought out a Mrs *someone* Gibbens. As I said in the past, I had no
idea why your wife's name kept appearing as a suggested contact since
her name meant nothing to me and, as I found out, we had no contacts in
common nor did she have *any involvement* in education. However, when I
looked at what she did for a crust and who she worked for, it fitted
with *your* narrative about her - and the penny dropped when it clicked
- you use *Ward Engineering* as an email address and her surname is
Ward. Knowing how the LinkedIn algorithm works, I figured *you* had
likely used your wife's LinkedIn account to *stalk me*. That, my dear
chap, is a logical conclusion, especially since others here also used
Linkedin accounts to stalk me thus allowing me to find *their LinkedIn

The sad thing, for you, is that the term, "algorithm" is the
simplest and most succinct way to describe the process that Facebook
uses. LinkedIn uses similar algorithms and likely was why your
wife's name kept popping up as a possible contact in *my* Linkedin
account.
https://www.facebook.com/business/help/718033381901819
That's right, you *lied* about *her qualifications* too, didn't you.
She was a "qualified teacher" you lied when all she had was a
certificate in journalism. Are you so insecure that you need to also
lie about your wife's achievements?
apparently
ROTFL :)
The only lie going on here Felix is the mental case's claim that my
wife's Linkedin details kept "popping up" on his account when she has
zero connection with anyone here but me, and I don't have a Linkedin
account myself.
And therein lies the crux of the tale.
Post by Noddy
The *only* reason he would know what her account looked like is
because the pathetic heap of shit had been stalking her.
Accounts*.

Stalk *YOU*. Oh my sainted aunt, that`s funny!. *Anyone* can find
*all* they would need to know about *you* and yer 'Napoleon Complex' and
other mental aberrations by watching yer *performance* in here for a day
or two...

Jesus he talks some utter rubbish. They *all* knew her name. Just like
they all know my address. They send little "secret squirrel" emails to
each other like 10 year olds in a tree house passing around notes in a

They're fucking pathetic. The only people they fool with this bullshit

and looked it up for fuck's sake.

Of course not, you don't have a *career* to market (lies not being a
marketable commodity), ergo you *don't need one*. Your wife, in a
government role, doesn't need one either. The Government Gazette would

was mine when I was in the government's employ. I was registered with
headhunters in the 70s but let it lapse since I never needed the

Generally, I prefer Honest to Intelligent. Honest ppl will either
successfully support their claims or retract/apologise. Also they will
give a direct answer to a question. So Richo is easily disqualified from
the Honest group, and I don't accept anyone simply telling everyone how
much smarter they are as a valid measure of Intelligence. So that rules
him out of the Intelligent category as well.

In a way he's correct. What the mental case is really good at is fooling
people with his incessant bullshit. That takes some degree of smarts. It
also requires a certain level of intellect in the target to complete the

Most people would consider a lack of attention or care to be
unintelligent :)

I don't equate a lack of knowledge with a lack of intelligence, and as
much as you might like to think that you know me you have no idea what
kind of person I am. I see acts of stupidity as a lack of intelligence.
I see failure to listen to reason or experience as a lack of
intelligence. I see being over confident *despite* possessing a lack of
knowledge or experience as a lack of intelligence. I see blindly
believing everything you're told as if it is fact without supporting
evidence as a lack of intelligence.

These are all things that most people who are capable of rational
thought would consider to be foolish and stupid, and yet you do all
these things and then some in spades which leads me to the only logical
conclusion that anyone could possibly make which is that you're not very
intelligent despite how much you may protest to the contrary.

He's correct in every way, I'm way smarter than you and have the
paperwork to prove it. You couldn't even *complete* year 9, much less
pass it. I was smart enough to qualify for an apprenticeship, you weren't.

But you were definitely stupid enough to *claim* you did, not one, not
two, but *three* apprenticeships never once realizing all three had
*entry level standards* which you could not and did not meet - ever.

The proof is in the qualifications, mine have been seen by others here,
your *claimed* qualifications by *no one*, not even your bestie Daryl.

Nah Darren, Alvey's worked out who the fraud is here, as have I.

No surprise! It's YOU!

Yeah but no multi-coloured that he was claiming he had.

When he went to Aldi that morning they didn't have those so instead he
bought a bunch black ones and tried to bluff his way past the fact he
did not have multi-coloured ones as he had claimed.

That didn't work and he was caught lying again.

That's good Felix. But your mate does, right? And how do you think he
got it? His bullshit story about her profile suddenly "popping up" on
his Linkedin page and him just "working it out"? That story's as much a
load of nonsensical bullshit as his claim that he and "Krypsis" are not
the same person, and if you believe *that* then you're a dumber cunt
than anyone around here has *ever* given you credit for.

Hate to burst your bubble here pal, but your best mate is the biggest
pathological liar this group has ever known, and his "tome of lies" is
an astounding testament to that. if you weren't such a half smart you'd
be able to see that for yourself, but instead you choose to ignore it
all live in a world of ignorance.

Wrong on two counts Darren. I never received any info from Alvey regarding
your wife’s name nor did I *look her up* on LinkedIn. Her name was
presented to me by LinkedIn as a potential contact. If you had a LinkedIn
Account you would know this: works the same as Facebook.

Hey Darren, I didn't even *know her name*. Had I been looking, I
would have sought out a Mrs *someone* Gibbens. As I said in the past,
I had no idea why your wife's name kept appearing as a suggested
contact since her name meant nothing to me and, as I found out, we
had no contacts in common nor did she have *any involvement* in
education. However, when I looked at what she did for a crust and who
she worked for, it fitted with *your* narrative about her - and the
penny dropped when it clicked - you use *Ward Engineering* as an
email address and her surname is Ward. Knowing how the LinkedIn
algorithm works, I figured *you* had likely used your wife's LinkedIn
account to *stalk me*. That, my dear chap, is a logical conclusion,
especially since others here also used Linkedin accounts to stalk me
thus allowing me to find *their LinkedIn Accounts*.

*all* they would need to know about *you* and yer 'Napoleon Complex'
and other mental aberrations by watching yer *performance* in here for

Jesus he talks some utter rubbish. They *all* knew her name. Just like
they all know my address. They send little "secret squirrel" emails to
each other like 10 year olds in a tree house passing around notes in a
special code that only "club members" know :)
They're fucking pathetic. The only people they fool with this bullshit
is *themselves*. Everything he's written here is a complete fabrication.
My wife's never been to his page. I've never used my wife's account and
I don't have a Linkedin account myself. His "logical conclusion" is a
load of horse shit. As soon as he found out what her name was he went
and looked it up for fuck's sake.

Yeah, that was truly a laugh! Grumpy the IT *expert* did much the same

we need to rely on *experts* like this. No wonder hacking seems such an

and think doing so was perfectly okay, only to *then* turn around and
claim that they had an "obligation" to guard someone's identity *after*

tried to take credit for someone *else's* work :)

It takes some *special* kind of stupid to be that fucked up :)

reason I'm on Facebook is car related and in particular a
technical support group.
I occasionally get the same thing and I've never understood how
that happens.

ROTFL :)
Felix trying to explain how something works :)
He's right. Remembering the clown who left his public facebook
profile wide open and then made a lot of noise protesting that people
were using a supa-seekrit back door to view his profile. Yeah, that
was you, dickhead.
¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬
The *majority* of PPL that find an *open* profile, and having *NO*
reason to be sneaking around in it, *Don`t*....Simply because its
*not* the done/moral thing to do, not to mention that its NONE of
their fuckin' business.
Actually *Majority* wouldn`t be quite the correct descriptor, coz
more and more are out to *get one over* everybody they can coz it
makes them feel *BIG*..when in reality they are *Nowhere men* (Beatles
1965)....
Actually what most people wouldn't do would be to take someone's profile
picture and upload it to some website where it was turned into some gag
and think doing so was perfectly okay, only to *then* turn around and
claim that they had an "obligation" to guard someone's identity *after*
they'd set out on a deliberate path to find out what it was. A path
where despite all their chest beating about how great an "internet
detective" they were they found absolutely jack shit themselves and
tried to take credit for someone *else's* work :)
It takes some *special* kind of stupid to be that fucked up :)
And there's no doubt that you're that special kind of stupid!

The only person that uploaded your profile picture was *you*. One of
your mates posted a link to your profile right here into this group.

That link when copied to a website provided a link that made an amusing

You just keep persisting with this lie but of course that is in your

What is a social media algorithm?
An algorithm is a series of instructions designed to solve specific
problems, perform tasks or make decisions. In computer programming,
algorithms direct the computer’s actions, such as sorting elements,
locating data or identifying objects.
In social media, algorithms are rules, signals and data that govern the
platform’s operation. These algorithms determine how content is
filtered, ranked, selected and recommended to users. In some ways,
algorithms influence our choices and what we see on social media.

Why are social media algorithms important?
Every social media platform comprises a mix of users with different
preferences. Without a filtering system, users must navigate through a
flood of posts, which can be overwhelming.
This is where algorithms come into play. Social media platforms employ
sophisticated algorithms as intelligent guides, carefully sorting and
matching content to audiences with similar preferences. Understanding
the ins and outs of algorithms and why they are important is essential
for any social media marketing strategy:
Filter out the content noise
When a new TikTok video or a Facebook post is published, it joins
millions of other content pieces online. Algorithms function as
librarians, sorting and connecting users with their preferences. This
prevents overwhelming users with endless content and helps them find
what they like faster. Algorithms enable users to uncover valuable
posts, connect with like-minded individuals and explore their interests.
Show users more of what they’re interested in
Social media platforms use sophisticated algorithms to prolong user
engagement. These algorithms control content visibility, sequence and
recommendations based on user data like actions, behaviors and
interests. For instance, if you interact with gadget-related posts,
you’ll see more of such content. This personalization improves user
engagement and in turn, creates a positive user experience.
Personalize user experience
Today, users have greater control over their content experience.
Algorithms leverage data to personalize content recommendations. On
platforms like Instagram, you can customize your feed by hiding posts,
filtering comments, or selecting “Not interested” to curate your content.
Maximize organic reach
Understanding social media algorithms can boost your online social
presence. As more users find your content, the algorithm becomes better
at targeting users with similar interests. Creators and marketers can
optimize their content for algorithms to leverage its distribution
potential. When a post gains high engagement, the algorithm promotes it
to a wider audience.

Understanding how social media algorithms work
Understanding how social media algorithms work is like unraveling the
intricate threads that govern the digital tapestry of user experiences.
These algorithms, like invisible guides, determine the content on our
feeds. Let’s explore how social media algorithms function and how social
teams can take advantage of it.
Algorithms search for relevant and valuable content
Algorithmic-driven content curation systems such as the Facebook News
Feed and Instagram Feed monitor user behavior, interests and actions to
recommend relevant content. For instance, if you engage with basketball
content, you’ll likely see more of it.
These algorithms aim to refine content suggestions by adapting and
learning from user interactions, ensuring content remains relevant.
Signals and important factors social algorithms consider
Algorithms collect user signals to match them with relevant content. Key
signals include:
User engagement: Likes, shares and comments indicate that users find the
content interesting and relevant.
Relevance: Keywords and hashtags give content context and improve its
visibility.
Timing and frequency: Posting consistently and at the right time when
your audience is active can boost visibility.
Recency: Newer posts are prioritized over older ones.
User interactions: Accounts followed, interactions and click-through
rates on links signals relevance and content quality.
Profile authority: Follower count, consistency and engagement impact
organic reach.
Location: Algorithms take into account the location and demographics of
users when curating content. Content may be promoted to users in similar
locations.
Content type: Different content types, like videos, images and text, are
treated based on user interaction. Many platforms favor videos because
they’re more engaging.
Virality: Content gaining popularity and shares signals relevance to the
algorithm.
Watch time: This is the duration users spends watching videos (IG Reel,
YouTube Shorts)

What's your problem? That's what Google is for. He cited his source and,
unlike others (Hi Fraudster), made no effort to claim it as his own.

It's funny, I hadn't really encountered the term prior to 1981-82 when I
first got into computers and programming. Ergo my association with the
term was all to do with computers and not maths per se, not even when I
was studying *algebra* at school. It was at teacher's college that I
encountered this chap; Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi, a Persian Shi'a
Muslim mathematician, astronomer, astrologer and geographer. That makes
him a *Polymath* but, no, that term does not relate to his mathematical
knowledge since a polymath is a person with a wide knowledge of many
*different* subjects. But I think he qualifies.

You look at this chap and you wonder what has gone wrong with current
day Islam.

Oh, and no apologies for Googling. I am not able to recall all I studied
way back in the early 80s. Google is a resource so I used it.

Nothing astonishes Noddy so much as common sense and plain dealing.

UNUSUALLY SO!. Since krypsis is the Lord Mayor of plagiarism. In
*that* regard, he`s just another felix. With krypsis tho, its *always*
someone elses work. Usually with a little padding!.

You *do that* religiously, So why admit to it now?..
Also, now we are hearing about polymaths. Apropos of nothing!. How
very unusual, Out of the blue like that. Hahaha, I see what you did
there you fuckin' fraud... It`s A *Definite* with the 'Napoleon Complex'..
But, keep it up, you have *some* of the numpties convinced...

On Facebook they have a "People you may know" section. On my account
the other day, your name came up. Since the only communication that
we have had other than here was when you visited the museum, it
brings up the question of why they think that I may know you.
Good question, I have no idea how that sort of thing works, only
reason I'm on Facebook is car related and in particular a technical
support group.
I occasionally get the same thing and I've never understood how that
happens.
algorithms
Do you understand what an algorithm actually is?
Something facebook used to figure you and Daryl might know each other
because you are both clowns.

So you don't know either.
