The problem with that is that tyres are normally rotated every 10 or
20k. It will end up on the front eventually anyway. Just make sure that,
when you get it repaired, a thorough inspection is carried out on the
carcase internals with the tyre off the rim. And use a plug/patch like
the one in the link.

If running flat has caused any fraying of the internal sidewalls, ditch
the tyre.
