as an aside, i've been dipping into the SKI fund (spend kids
inheritance) and bought a new infrared scope. testing it out before
all the toads turn up for the long weekend, and this was standing
there, staring at me about ...

yeh, I've discovered that when I swap the Win HD for the Linux one, then
swap back it screws up the clock time. so I posted again to be sure it
went ok.

tricks.. it will auto-save the previous 5 seconds of video when it finds
recoil, so if you forget to hit the record button in the heat of the
moment, it records it anyway.

(chunderbird has crashed twice today.. maybe thats where the first post
went)

yes, 18650 main battery, a smaller rechargable via usb, and it has wifi
for transferring data/pics/video.

Have you updated it recently? It's at the point now where it seems to
cave in every second update. It's hardly worth using anymore....

First one might have worked and I just didn't see it. I haven't spent
much time here of late, and Eternal September has been a bit flakey so

Cool image. Looks like it works well.

black and white display in/after dark, but thermal (colored heatmap
think Arnie's Predator) are triple the price, and have drawbacks as
well (eg wet grass in front of target..) very happy so far.
